The 2011 Most Outstanding Parish Ambassadors, Charlene Estwick and Shane Gibbons, along with the Attendant of the Year, Margot Wilkinson-King, will be undertaking an overseas assignment from June 2-9, as guests of the Barbados High Commission in London, England.
The purpose of the trip is two-fold.?? Firstly, it is offered as an award to the Parish Ambassadors and Attendant for their outstanding achievement in the 2011 Community Independence Celebrations Programme.
Secondly, they will be fulfilling their roles as promoters of the Community Independence Celebrations Programme at an international level and meeting with persons from the Barbadian community in England.
The contingent is being accompanied by National Coordinator, Curtis Gibbons.
Virgin Atlantic has provided complimentary tickets for the group.
