Depression will be the focus when the Psychiatric Hospital hosts a panel discussion next Wednesday, October, 31 at Solidarity House, Harmony Hall, St. Michael.
The session will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the moderator will be Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the Psychiatric Hospital, Dr. Ermine Belle.?? The panelists will be Psychiatrist, Dr. Shirley Alleyne; Psychologist, Dr. Dahlia??Gibson; Radio??Personality, Larry Mayers and Guidance Counsellor, Saul Leacock.??
Everyone is invited to come and learn more about this common mental disorder, characterised by sadness, loss of interest or pleasure, feelings of guilt or low self-worth, disturbed sleep or appetite, feelings of tiredness and poor concentration. ??The event is just one of the activities organised to mark Mental Health Month.??
