Barbadians will pay less for gasoline, diesel and kerosene, effective midnight Sunday, October 11.

The retail price of gasoline will drop from $3.19 per litre to $2.97; diesel will move from $2.20 per litre to $2.11 per litre; and kerosene will now retail at $1.00 per litre, down from $1.18 per litre.

These new prices represent decreases of 22 cents, nine cents and 18 cents per litre on gasoline, diesel and kerosene respectively.??

According to the Division of Energy, this adjustment in retail prices is due solely to an adjustment in the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) of these refined products.
