Parents and guardians are asked to note that there is still space in this year’s one-week residential camp hosted by the National Council on Substance Abuse (NCSA).

Registration for the camp entitled Project S.O.F.T. (Safeguarding Our Future Today) is ongoing and concludes this Friday, August 24. There is also a registration fee.

The camp will get under way from Sunday, August 26, and run until Saturday, September 1, at the Marian Retreat House, Verdun, St. John, under the theme: Know the Facts…Make the Choice.

Campers will be exposed to some of the challenges they are likely to face as they enter secondary school and make the transition into teenagers

For further information, interested persons may contact Makeada Bourne or Agnetha Roach-Chase at the NCSA at 535-6272 or email info@ncsa.org.bb.
