The public will still have the opportunity to share its views on the future of tourism in Barbados.?? The Ministry of Tourism has encouraged persons to continue to submit comments pertaining to the Discussion Document on the White Paper for the Development of Tourism in Barbados.?? Individuals will have until Tuesday, March 15, to do so.
The document, which can be found online at the Ministry’s website, http://www.tourism.gov.bb/ , was created to identify and analyse current perspectives on tourism policy and practice; highlight critical issues relevant to the local industry; and determine the viability of policies within the Barbadian context.?? Comments and suggestions from the public will be crucial to the development of the White Paper, which will direct the National Tourism Policy for Barbados.
