Public Secondary Schools Closed For Common Entrance

The Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination, commonly referred to as the Common Entrance Exam or the 11 Plus, will be held next week Tuesday, May 3.

Approximately 3811 students, comprising 1955 boys and 1856 girls, will sit the 2011 Examination, at 22 secondary schools across the island.

Consequently, there will be no school for students attending these secondary schools.

The Ministry of Education has reminded parents that the examination commences at 9:00 a.m., but the students should be in place no later than 8:30 a.m.
