QEH Marking 15th Anniversary Of Cardiac Surgery

Fifteen years of cardiac surgery, will be commemorated by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), from May 24 until May 30.

The Department of Cardiovascular Services will mark its years of service to Barbados and the wider Caribbean, with a series of events starting with divine worship at St. Barnabas Church on Sunday, May 24 from 9:15 a.m.

On Wednesday, May 27, the department will host its Open Day and Exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital from 10:00 a.m. in the foyer adjacent to the Cardiac Unit of the QEH.????

The activities will conclude with a dinner and awards ceremony at Almond Bay, Christ Church, on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Services, Mr. Anthony Harris; Consultant Cardiologist, Dr. Richard Ishmael and President of the Barbados Senate, Branford Taitt will address the ceremony.????????
