Eight teams will display their prowess tomorrow, Wednesday, November 23, as they compete in the quarter finals of the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Council Football classic.
The Parkinson playing field will be the stage for the St. Joseph versus St. Michael Central match at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Christ Church East versus St. Michael West match at 8:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, at Gall Hill, St. John, the playing field there will come alive as St. Thomas challenges St. Michael North West at 6:00 p.m., and St. Lucy tackles The City at 8:00 p.m.
These teams will vie for a spot in the semifinals of the tournament which comes off this Saturday, November 26, ahead of the finals which will take place at Kensington Oval on Sunday, December 4.
The David Thompson Memorial Constituency Council Football classic, an initiative of the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development, is a community-based out of season football tournament which aims to rekindle community spirit.
