The Rural Development Commission (RDC) is seeking to add value to local agricultural produce through the staging of a Food Technology Training Course. It will target persons in rural districts.

The course will commence on Saturday, May 3, and run until Saturday, July 26, and will seek to highlight the diversification potential of local produce through various methods of preparation and preservation.

Courses will be conducted simultaneously at the Lester Vaughan, Princess Margaret, St. James, St. George and St. Lucy Secondary Schools every Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. from the commencement date.

Interested persons are asked to collect application forms from the RDC, Omni Corporate Centre, Speightstown, St. Peter or contact Andrew Glasgow at 422-4108, no later than Wednesday, April 30.
