The Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic’s (SJPP) Distance and Continuing Education programme will introduce a number of new courses in February 2017 along with its current paper-based and on-line offerings.

Included among the new “face-to-face” courses, for which registration has started, are: Floral Arrangement; Landscape Gardening; Autobody Repairs 1; Introduction to Auto CAD; Block-laying and Concreting 1; Electronic Servicing; Painting and Decorating; Computer Skills for Mature Beginners; Massage Therapy I; Textile Product Design I and Animation 1.

These will supplement the usual course offerings which include: Motor Vehicle Engineering Theory & Practice 3D; Housekeeping I; Building Maintenance 1; Plumbing for Homeowners; Sound Technology for Events; Child Care and Nursery Management; Facials and Makeup; Applied Small Business Management; Refrigeration and Air-conditioning; Hairdressing, Barbering Services 1; Nursing Auxiliary Studies and Business Law 1.

Prospective students may apply for these and other courses by downloading the applications from the polytechnic’s website at www.sjpp.edu.bb. Forms may also be collected from SJPP’s Main Campus, Wildey, St. Michael.

Students will be awarded the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic Unit Certificate on successful completion of their course of study.
