Registration is currently open for the Barbados Community College???s (BCC) Emergency Medical Technician course that starts Monday, February 10.
The Emergency Medical Technician course is a prerequisite to the paramedic programme.
Emergency Medical Technicians provide basic and limited advanced medical care and transportation for critical and emergency patients who become suddenly ill or are injured.
Applicants must have a minimum of four CSEC General Proficiency passes including English Language, Mathematics and either Biology or Human and Social Biology.
Registration for the programme closes on Friday, January 10, and prospective students will be interviewed.
