SKILLS TRAINING FOR YOUTH

Come next month, young persons between the ages of 16 and 30 will be provided with an opportunity to develop their skills, through the Youth Mainstreaming Programme of the Division of Youth.

It will be offering a number of courses at the Barbados Community College, the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polyclinic, the Barbados Vocational Training Board and private enterprises, in Fishing Vessel Operations, Boat Building, Maritime Operations, Landscaping, Electronics (Radio/TV), Leather Craft, Electronics (Sound Systems),Steel Pan and Dancing.

The deadline for the submission of applications is Tuesday, September 30, and forms may be collected from Youth Commissioners across the island, or Youth Projects Coordinator, David Denny, at the Division of Youth, Family and Sports, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael.
