There has been a slight increase in the price of gasoline.

Effective midnight, Sunday, June 7, the retail price of gasoline will be increased by 18 cents, from $2.02 per litre to $2.20 per litre. The price of diesel and kerosene has been increased by five cents and seven cents, respectively, and will now be retailed at $1.76 and $1.02 per litre.

At a meeting on June 5, 2008, Cabinet instituted a mechanism to adjust petroleum prices on a monthly basis in keeping with international trends related to the pricing of petroleum products.
