This time the focus will be on four parishes, where a snail hunt will be staged this Saturday, October 17, starting at 5:00 a.m.

According to Entomologist at the Ministry, Brett Taylor, the Ministry will be intensifying its efforts to combat this pest and will also be seeking the public’s assistance in this endeavour.

The areas to be targeted are:?? Clermont, St. Michael; Newbury, St. George; Lamming’s, St. Joseph and the Whim, St. Peter.

Residents in the respective areas are asked to meet at Queens College, Newbury hard courts, St. Bernard’s Primary School and the playing field located at Deny Road.
