The first in a series of Community lectures designed to allow members of the community to share their views on the environment and to get updates on new developments, will take place on Wednesday, June 6, at the North Stars Club, in St. Lucy at 7:00 p.m.
The title of that meeting is Community Perspective On Building Environmentally Strong Communities, and Director of the Natural Heritage Department, Steve Devonish, will deliver the address.
Members of the community are being encouraged to come out and share their ideas for projects in the area and join in the exercise as Mr. Devonish will also share guidelines about how residents may go about greening their parish.
