Seniors from St. Lucy are gearing up for the upcoming National Senior Games, and will showcase their prowess at a Fun and Sports Day hosted by the St. Lucy Constituency Council next weekend.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 19, at the North Stars Cultural and Social Club, Crab Hill, St. Lucy, from 9:00 a.m.
The seniors will participate in a number of track and field events including: the 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 meter races; the 800 meter walking race; the three-legged race; the sack race; the egg and spoon race, and tug-of-war. There will also be activities for children.
