Key members of several sporting associations, senior coaches and Board members of the Council participated in the workshop and the Director said he was satisfied with their input.

"I would also urge you to examine and come up with firm suggestions on how the Council can best serve you as stakeholders and the people you represent, and also how best to deliver that service," Dr. Byer Suckoo said.

She stressed that the NSC had made a significant contribution to the sporting landscape in Barbados and regionally, and suggested that the time had come for it to move forward.
