The Environmental Health Department at the St. Philip Polyclinic will host Class 4 students of the St. Philip Primary School on two tours on Thursday, May 25.

The first tour group will visit the Fish Farming Facility on the compound of the Vector Control Unit at the Graeme Hall Swamp, Christ Church. There, they will learn about larvivorous fish used for biological control in reducing the mosquito population.

The second group will tour the Animal Control Centre at the Lazaretto Complex, Lower Black Rock, St. Michael.  At the Centre, they will learn about the Dog Licensing Act, dog care management, breeding and licensing.

The tours will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
