Some of the campers attending Government’s summer camps will show their athletic prowess over the next few days as they compete in the inaugural inter-zonal athletic championships.

"Government is really appreciative of the hard work the camp directors and their assistants have put in to make sure that all the children are having a great time. You have really given above and beyond to make it a special experience for all the children; one they will never forget," Dr. Byer Suckoo told the nearly 1600 persons gathered in the park.

Minister of Housing and Lands, Michael Lashley, told the coordinators that they must keep the faith in the camps, stating that "it is a wonderful idea".
