It’s time to walk on the beaches again and enjoy the sunset!
The Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) is inviting the public to participate in a Sundown Beach Walk on Saturday, February 25, starting at 3:00 p.m.
Walkers are encouraged to come out and get wet as they journey from Oistins, to St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church during the Beach Walk. Those persons participating in the walk should assemble at the Coastal Zone Management Unit’s car park, Bay Street, for 2:00 p.m., as buses will leave at 2:30 p.m. for Oistins. The return trip to the CZMU will be immediately after the walk.
Participants are asked to wear appropriate shoes to walk on the beach. Any persons wearing inappropriate foot wear (such as flip flops) will not be allowed to board the bus or participate in the walk.
