Persons who wish to purchase tickets for the finals of the Community Dancefest competition may now do so.

The box offices are CS Pharmacy, Bridgetown; Esso, Oistins; Shell Warrens; Emerald City Supermarket, St Philip and  Pharmaco, Speightstown. Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12.

Chief Community Development Officer, Patricia Hackett-Codrington, encouraged persons to come out and support all the performers who made it to this level of the competition which she believes “fills a void within communities in Barbados”.

She expressed satisfaction with the talent she has seen and pledged her department’s commitment to ensuring that the competition remains a staple on the Barbadian calendar.

The finals for Community Dancefest take place on Sunday, January 21, at the Wildey Gymnasium, at 6:00 p.m. For more information on Dancefest, persons may visit the Community Development Department’s Facebook page ‘idancefest’ or call 535-1600.
