The first in a series of town hall meetings for electors in the 13 constituencies affected by changes to polling districts will be held next week by the Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

The meeting, which will take place on Monday, September 17, at Queen’s College, is targeting electors in the constituencies of St. James South, St. James North, St. Thomas and St. Michael North.

Two days later, on Wednesday, September 19, the Parkinson Secondary School will be the venue for affected electors in the St. Michael South Central and St. Michael South East constituencies.

The next day, Thursday, September 20, at The Alleyne School, constituents in St. Andrew will have the opportunity to hear about the adjustments to their polling districts.

The town hall meetings will continue on Monday, September 24, at the Christ Church Boys’ School, for persons in the Christ Church East Central and West Central constituencies. St. Christopher Primary School will be the location for the fifth meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, September 26.

The final meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, at the Princess Margaret School, for affected electors in the St. Philip South and West constituencies.

All meetings will commence at 7:30 p.m.

Electors who are affected by the changes to polling districts will also be informed by circular.
