In an effort to accommodate the activities of Caribbean Wellness Day tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, Broad Street will be partially closed to vehicular traffic, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.??

Restrictions will also be in place for the route of the Caribbean Wellness Day 5K Walk, which starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 9:00 a.m.

The walk will move in an easterly direction – taking the first left across Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge, and then left on to Wharf Road.

It will continue on to Hincks Street, through to Princess Alice Highway and on to the Elsie Payne Roundabout. At the Holbourn Circle lights, walkers will take the right on to Fontabelle, through to Cheapside.

They will then proceed in front of the City Centre Mall, taking the right turn on to Broad Street before proceeding East onto Broad Street and pass Heroes Square.

The walk will then go left at the traffic lights on to Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge, through to Probyn Street. It will take the left on to Bay Street and then a right to finish at Independence Square.

Motorists are therefore asked to take alternative routes.
