The University in the Community Lunchtime Lecture series continues next Thursday, February, 25, with a discussion entitled "The Aftermath of an Earthquake and the Haiti Experience: Recovery Efforts, Psychological Impact, and the Economic Realities".

Speakers for the event will be Lecturer in the Department of Government Sociology and Social Work at the University of the West Indies’ Cave Hill Campus, Karen Ring; Managing Director of Calidad Investment and Financial Services, Jerry Blenman, and Psychiatrist Dr. Sharon Harvey.

It will be held at the Grand Salle, Tom Adams Financial Centre, from 12:00 noon to 1:15 p.m. This series is organised by the University of the West Indies’ Open Campus (formerly the School of Continuing Studies) in collaboration with the Central Bank of Barbados.
