The National Conservation Commission (NCC) will be implementing user fees on all vessels using the provided mooring buoys within the Folkestone Marine Reserve, with effect from Monday, December 19.

Mooring fees for Class 1 vessels (up to 25 persons) is $587.50 per annum; Class 2 vessels (26 to 80 persons), $1,880 per annum; Class 3 vessels (81 to 200 persons), $2, 350 per annum; and Class 4 vessels (over 200 persons), $4, 700 per annum.

In addition, the NCC has advised that all persons engaging in scuba diving will be required to pay a fee per dive. These fees will be charged in accordance with the National Conservation Commission (Fees) Regulations 2015. The fee for scuba diving will be $11.75 for each tag, which will be valid for one (1) day.

Persons are advised that fees for the moorings buoys and the scuba tags may be paid at the NCC, Codrington, St. Michael, Mondays to Fridays, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or at the Folkestone Marine Park, Holetown, St. James, Mondays to Fridays,  between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
