Winners of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development’s Art Competition, to design a flag, will be presented with their prizes next Tuesday, June 26, at the Ministry’s headquarters at the Elsie Payne complex.
The Art Competition, which was held as part of the activities for Education Month, October 2011, targeted students from secondary and tertiary institutions and invited them to design a flag for the Ministry of Education.
The winner of the competition will receive an Acer Netbook from Illuminat while students placing second and third will receive a Blue Ray DVD player from PrudINC and a $400 cheque from Fujitsu-ICL respectively.
The presentation ceremony will take place in the Minister’s Conference Room, Ministry of Education from 10:00 a.m.
It will be addressed by Chief Education Officer, Laurie King.
