A two-day training session on Coastal Decision support with Earth Observation in the Caribbean will fall under the microscope, when the Department of Emergency Management (DEM), in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency hosts a workshop next week.

It will take place at the DEM headquarters, #30 Warrens Industrial Park on Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.??

Aimed at providing training to all interested emergency management personnel and geo-spatial experts, the seminar will focus on the practical use of RADARSAT and other high-resolution satellites for emergency mapping, as well as the interpretation of relevant geospatial products.
