Some 35 public officers will be sensitised about the national economic issues which impact on public sector operations at a financial management seminar, this Friday, May 29.
The workshop, which will be held at the Savannah Hotel, from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will focus on the topic: ???The Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on National Debt???. It will be facilitated by Bernard Codrington, an economist with over 30 years experience.??????
The session will be the first in a series of half-day and one-day seminars related to the economy, being hosted by the Training Administration Division during the financial year, 2009-2010.
The target group for the training will be public officers at the level of permanent and deputy permanent secretary, administrative and technical officers and public officers working within the accounting, economic and financial sections of their departments.
