The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has completed repairs to a damaged 18-inch main in Free Hill, Black Rock and pumping from the St. Stephen’s Pumping Station has resumed.

However, the BWA is notifying customers in parts of St. Michael and St. James affected by water outages, that it will take some time for levels at the Lodge Hill and Cave Hill Reservoirs, which feed the affected areas, to increase. In the interim, the Authority’s water tankers will continue to assist residents.

The Authority is also still being impacted by low levels at its Warleigh, St. Peter and Golden Ridge, St. George, facilities.

Persons may contact the Authority at 434-4292, or via Facebook to report or address any issue they may be experiencing.

The BWA apologizes for any inconvenience which may be caused.
