Young agriculturalists will get the opportunity to showcase their produce when the Barbados 4-H Foundation hosts its first Market Day, at its headquarters, on Crumpton Street, on Saturday, November 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Aimed at making the public more aware of the 4-H programme, patrons can view the 4-H project work, seedlings, locally grown fruits and vegetables, plants, crafts as well as home-made dishes.??

Demonstrations in budding and grafting and other aspects of agriculture will also be put on, and the Ministry’s Extension Officers will be on hand to give tips on backyard gardening.

Local delicacies such as fish cakes, pudding & souse and other treats will also be on sale.
