Government’s Community Development Department is offering graduates of its Community Technology Programme and unemployed persons an opportunity to better themselves. The department is teaming up with personal and professional development coach and motivational speaker, Grace Showan, to host a five-week series entitled “Window of Opportunity”.

The sessions, which start on Monday, March 30, will be conducted at Aberdeen Jones Centre, Gall Hill, Christ Church, on Mondays from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will conclude on April 27.

The series will assist persons in thinking clearly, identifying what they want in life and how to position themselves to achieve these goals. Several topics will be discussed including: ‘Promoting Yourself and Your Ideas’; ‘Your Success and the Change Factor’; ‘Positioning Yourself and Competitive Strategies’; ‘Maximising Your Thinking’; and ‘Emotional Intelligence.’

Those graduates of the Community Technology Programme from the resource centres, at Bonnetts, St. Michael, and Briar Hall and St. Christopher in Christ Church, are especially encouraged to sign up.

Registration forms should be completed and returned to the aforementioned resource centres, or the Community Development Department, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, by this Friday, March 20.

Interested persons may also call the Department at 310-1700 or 310-1701.
