Acting Head of the National Disabilities Unit (NDU) Lloyd J. Springer, will retire early next year.
The senior civil servant, who spent some 42 years in the civil service ??? 14 of those at the NDU, went on pre-retirement leave at the beginning of this month.
The official date for his retirement is January 1, 2015.??In addition to the time spent at the NDU, Mr. Springer served for four years at the Meteorological Office and for 24 years at the Welfare Department.
He described his time in the service as ???satisfying and fulfilling???.
