Barbadians will be kept up-to-date on “the latest happenings” of the EduTech programme when the Ministry of Education publishes “EduNews” in two weeks.

The quarterly newsletter, produced by the Programming Coordinating Unit, will serve as an avenue to provide information on the education system and how it is being reformed.

EduTech Programme Director, Paul Murphy, said the publication will give some insight on the programme’s achievements.

“It is one of the most expensive projects of the Ministry of Education and tax-payers have the right to review its status and results,” Mr. Murphy said.

Readers can look forward to articles on technology, features on the island’s schools and educators, EduTech factoids, puzzles and more.

The newsletter will be distributed to many locations across the island including schools and business places.

The EduTech programme comprises four components:  Curriculum Reform, Human Resource Development, Civil Works and Technological Infrastructure.
