Twenty-One Years ??? Agriculture a Viable Career Choice is the name of an upcoming showcase to be held at the Barbados Community College???s (BCC) Eyrie campus, Howell???s Cross Road, St. Michael, on Wednesday, November 25.
The showcase is part of a number of initiatives embarked on by the Division of Science towards securing and improving job prospects for current and prospective students.
The event will include displays and lectures focusing on the opportunities for employment in the field of agriculture and related disciplines.
It will highlight the perfect opportunity for the business community to network with the College and students from various secondary schools through presenting the business in the specific area of operations.??It is free to the public and will run from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. in the Division of Natural Sciences.??
Acting Principal of the BCC, Samuel Rouse, will deliver remarks at the start of the event, at 10:00 a.m., while Head of the Division of Natural Sciences and Senior Tutor, Francis Sutherland; and Programme Coordinator of Agriculture, Marcia Marville, will facilitate the event.
