The Extension Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management will conduct a series of outreach sessions for farmers.

The first session takes place at the King George V Memorial Park, St Philip, on Wednesday, October 7, beginning at 9:15 a.m.

Representatives from the Pesticide Division of the Ministry will meet with farmers to discuss the labelling and storage of chemicals, and how to handle drought conditions.

Officers from the Plant Pathology Unit of the Ministry will also be on hand to provide information. Farmers from the surrounding districts are asked to make a special effort to attend.
