The Markets Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has issued an appeal to fruit and vegetable vendors who operate outside the Cheapside Market, to remove tents, tables, and chairs from the area, as soon as possible, so as to facilitate the marking of vending spaces.
The area should be cleared of these objects no later than tomorrow, Wednesday April 15.
Vendors have also been advised to contact Superintendent Gregory Payne at gpayne@agriculture.gov.bb or Supervisor Nolan Parris at 535-6226, or 535-6228, for details on the allocation of spaces.
The Markets Divisions has also cautioned vendors against setting operations before receiving confirmation of a designated space.
