There are no exceptions to the regulation as it relates to ???toy dogs, lap dogs, house dogs or pet dogs’.?? In addition, the legislation permits any police officer or an Animal Control Officer to enter the premises of any member of the public and request who he/she believes to be the owner of the dog(s) to produce, within 48 hours, any license required under the Act.????

For the public’s convenience, there are three licensing centres’ – the Maurice Byer Polyclinic in Ashton Hall, St. Peter, the St. Philip Polyclinic in Six Roads, and

the Animal Control Centre located at the Lazaretto Complex in Black Rock, St. Michael.

The Centre has also provided a licensing service to shut-ins and persons who are immobile or have a disability.??
