Members of the public will have the opportunity to explore Barbados??? culture in a fun and engaging way at the Heritage Month Museum and Gallery Crawl, scheduled for Sunday, June 22.

Interested persons are asked to meet in the car park opposite the Central Police Station in Bridgetown at 1:45 p.m.

Patrons will then be transported by bus to museums and galleries within the island???s UNESCO World Heritage Site: Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison.

While on the excursion, participants will learn about the history and heritage of Barbados, see interesting exhibits and visit places of interest.

Some of these locations include the National Heroes Gallery and the Museum at Parliament, the Nidhe Israel Synagogue and Museum, George Washington House, the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, Dr. Lawrence Bannister???s Outdoor Gallery and Museum, the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination at UWI, and the Cricket Legends Museum.

Interested persons should secure their tickets for a small fee by contacting the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth at 310-2700 / 2710 / 2729.
