Residents of Allen View, St. Thomas, are invited to attend a town hall meeting this Saturday, May 15, to discuss the overall plan for the Housing and Neighbourhood Upgrading Programme (HNUP) in their area.??
The meeting will be hosted by staff of the Ministry of Housing and Lands HNUP unit and will be held at the Natural Heritage Department, #1 Sturges, St. Thomas, at 4.00 p.m. Residents are urged to attend and have their concerns addressed.??
Minister of Housing and Lands, Michael Lashley, ministry staff and a representative of the design team will be on hand to address any queries the residents may have.
The Housing and Neighbourhood Upgrading Programme, is an infrastructural development project for low-income neighbourhoods.?? The four pilot sites which have been selected are Cats Castle and Greenfields in Bridgetown, Garden Land in St. Michael and Allen View in St. Thomas.
