Barbados’ Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Office as well as other International Organisations in Geneva, Matthew Wilson, presents his credentials to UN Director General, Tatiana Valovaya, in Geneva, today. (GP)

Matthew Wilson has been accredited as Barbados’ Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Office as well as other International Organisations in Geneva.

This morning, Mr. Wilson presented his credentials to UN Director General, Tatiana Valovaya, in Geneva. 

During the handing over of his credentials, Permanent Representative Wilson and Director General Valovaya, discussed future collaborations between Barbados and the UN on showcasing elements of Barbados’ art and culture at the UN in Geneva.

The two officials also conversed about supporting gender equality and showcasing women’s entrepreneurship in Barbados and utilising the investment and financing ecosystem in Geneva through events like Building Bridges.

Ambassador Wilson will be based in Geneva at Barbados’ Permanent Mission.
