Officers from the Animal Control Centre will be in Jackson, St. Michael, as part of a two-week licensing and outreach programme, from next Monday, April 12 to Friday, April 23.

Officials from the Ministry of Health and the Hope Martin Neutering Mobile Clinic will be located at the basketball court near Brownes Gap, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., daily, to register dogs and to provide information on proper care and treatment.??

Residents of the Jackson, Arthur Seat, Melrose, Cane Wood and Cane Garden districts are invited to come and take advantage of this free service.

Meanwhile, Animal Control and Hope Martin Clinic staff are currently in the area carrying out inspections of animal premises, licensing dogs and giving advice on proper canine care. Shut-ins and persons with disabilities who wish to access these services are asked to call 425-5559 or 425-1033.
