Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School will mark its 36th anniversary as an educational institution tomorrow, Saturday, September 10.

In recognition of this, the school, which was opened to formal education on September 10, 1975, by the then Minister of Education, Lloyd Erskine Sandiford will hold its brief founding ceremony on Monday, September 12, at 8:45 a.m.

The event which was scheduled to be held today, Friday, September 9, was postponed as a result of inclement weather.

The Very Reverend, Dr. Dean Frank Marshall will address the ceremony at the school on Government Hill, St. Michael.

Named in memory of the late Charles Fitzgerald Broome, a Barbadian educator, the institution provides education for nearly over 600 pupils inclusive of some 30 pupils in its special unit.
