There has been a slight dip in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Effective midnight, tonight Wednesday, February 17, the retail price of LPG will decrease in keeping with the imported prices of petroleum products.?? As a consequence, the 100-pound cylinder will now be retailed at $150.71 – a decrease of $3.59.?? The 25-pound cylinder will now cost $40.26, down by $1.10, while the 20-pound cylinder will now be retailed at $32.21 – a saving of 72 cents.

Government has a mechanism in place to adjust petroleum prices, monthly by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Empowerment, Trade, Industry and Commerce, on the advice of the Division of Energy.

This mechanism is now in use and prices changes will be more frequent (i.e up or down) in accordance with the landed price of petroleum products.
