The deadline for the submission of entries for the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment’s Anti-Violence poster competition has been extended to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 30.

The poster competition is part of the Ministry’s Anti-Violence Campaign, which was launched in June this year, and seeks to encourage and promote youth expression and action on issues impacting positive youth development in Barbados.

It is open to art enthusiasts, aged nine to 29, and will be judged in the following age categories: nine to 13, 14 to 18, 19 to 23, and 24 to 29.

Entrants in each category are required to submit a poster depicting their interpretation of the theme ‘Anti-violence’.  All entries should be a minimum size of 8.5 x 11.0” or a maximum size of 18 x 26”. Entry forms and criteria are available on Facebook @divisionofyouthaffairs and on Instagram @divyouth246.
