The Barbados Coalition of Service Industries (BCSI), in collaboration with the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association, will host the Firefly Creative Village at BMEX 2019, from June 7 to 10, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
The BCSI is encouraging interested parties to apply to participate in the village, which will feature up and coming entrepreneurs in the creative industries, particularly in fashion, jewellery, arts and craft, and music.
Participants in the Firefly Creative Village will receive pop-up shop space at BMEX 2019, an opportunity to showcase their work through live demos, fashion shows and concerts, as well as business development training.
They will also receive this entire package at a subsidized cost, except for those within the music industry, who will participate in the concerts, free of charge.
Interested parties are asked to apply by completing the application form on the BCSI’s website www.bcsi.org.bb by midnight, on Tuesday, May 14.
