In a gesture of good faith, the Government of Barbados is offering a rebate to travellers whose test results took longer than three days to be processed.
The rebate applies to travellers to the island between the period December 24, 2020 and January 31, 2021, who were impacted by delays of more than three days in receiving their second COVID-19 PCR test results.
The rebate application process is as follows:
- Travellers will settle their hotel bills and submit an application for a rebate to www.rebatevisitbarbados.org.
- They will receive an email acknowledgement of their application within 24 hours.
- The claim will be reviewed by the Government of Barbados, in accordance with the accommodation providers.
- A representative from destination Barbados will contact the applicant via email to update them on the status of their claim within 30 days.
