Barbadians wishing to study in the United Kingdom (UK) in the academic year 2017 to 2018 can now apply to the Chevening Scholarship Scheme.

Nationals of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean can register online at www.chevening.org to pursue fully-funded postgraduate studies at any academic institution in the UK. The closing date for applications is Tuesday, November 8.
The Chevening Scholarships Scheme is the global scholarship programme of the British Government. Scholarships are awarded to exceptional individuals with leadership potential and they enable recipients to study one-year Masters courses in a range of subjects at UK universities.
Since its establishment in 1983, the scheme has provided more than 45,000 scholarships at higher education institutions in the UK for postgraduate students or researchers from countries across the world.
