A full roll out of this year’s Arbor Day activities will be launched during a press conference this coming Friday, September 14, at the National Conservation Commission’s (NCC) headquarters at Codrington, St. Michael, at 9:30 a.m.

General Manager of the NCC, Keith Neblett, will give a full overview of the week of activities expected to start from September 16 and lead up to Arbor Day which is observed on September 22.

The theme for this year’s Arbor Day celebrations is: Trees: The Circle of Life, and the expo is expected to attract environmental companies to display their products and services.

The Expo is designed to promote the importance of trees through a practical or interactive demonstration that highlight the many arboreal products and services consumed and utilised on a daily basis which came from trees.
