In a continuing effort to showcase the art and craft of individuals in communities across the island, the Ministry of Tourism, through its Community Tourism Programme, will host its Fourth Bajan Pride Exposition in Bathsheba, St. Joseph, on Wednesday, February 3.

The event, which starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 5:00 p.m., will feature aspects of Barbadian culture, such as the coconut and sno-cone vendors, the nut-seller and local confectionery.

Residents of St. Joseph, St. John and St. Andrew, with an interest in displaying products at the Fourth Bajan Pride Exposition, are urged to register with the Ministry of Tourism on or before Friday, January 28. They may do so by contacting Sharon Trotman and Sarah Greenidge at 430-7500.

The key purpose of the exposition is to provide a forum for artists and craft persons to display and sell their produce to visitors and locals alike. These will include, among others, jewellery, basketry, woodcraft, leather and paintings.
