When the House of Assembly meets tomorrow, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, David Thompson, is expected to have the Resolution for the approval of the Arts and Sports Promotion Fund (Amendment) Regulations, 2008, rescinded.

This item was passed by the House of Assembly on July 14, 2009 and by the Senate on July 29, 2009. However, a similar measure is expected to be tabled again, tomorrow.

Other Resolutions standing in the name of the Prime Minister are the Second Readings of the Constitution (Amendment) (No.2) Bill, 2009, and the Public Service (Amendment), Bill, 2009.

Meanwhile, Minister of Economic Affairs and Empowerment, Innovation, Trade, Industry and Commerce, Dr. David Estwick, will move the Second Reading of the Barbados Water Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2008.

In addition, the First Reading of the Health Services (Amendment) Bill, 2009, will be debated by Members of Parliament in the name of Minister of Health, Donville Inniss.
